Description:
This shrimp originates from distant China (black form – black bee). They grow up to 3.5 cm in size. For water temperature – these shrimps are not demanding, room temperature is enough, ideally 20-25 degrees C. Ideal water hardness from 100-300 microsiemens; kH 0 to 4 (4 to 8 dGH total hardness), pH from 5.5 to 7. Females are more robust than males. These shrimp live for about 2 years. A condition for breeding is a well-established aquarium. Shrimp are generally sensitive to honey (contains some fertilizers and medicines). The aquarium for these shrimps should be at least 30 liters. Usually, the commercial size of the shrimp is from 0.5 to 1.3 cm.
